Klout Kards is a daily strategy game where players build decks of hashtag “Kards,” submit them into competitive rounds, and score points based on what actually trends on the internet. It’s part Trading Card Game, part Prediction Market, part Bingo — a completely new way to play the pulse of culture.

Every 24 hours, the internet creates new winners. If your Kards match the categories of the day’s top-trending topics, you climb the leaderboard and earn a share of the prize pot. The better your deck, the better your chances — but anything can happen when you’re playing against the internet itself.

1️⃣ Rip Packs

Start by minting Klout Kard Packs, each containing 3 random Kards drawn from categories like:

• Music

• NBA

• Tech CEOs

• Politics

• Movies

• Gaming

• Crypto …and many more.

Each Kard represents a real-world hashtag, person, event, or topic that could trend today, tomorrow, or next month.

2️⃣ Build Your Deck

To enter a round, you create a deck of 5 Kards. Your deck should cover multiple categories you believe will trend over the next 24 hours.

Example deck:

• 🏀 LeBron James (NBA)

• 👨‍💼 Elon Musk (Business Leaders)

• 🎬 Avatar (Movies)

• 🚀 SpaceX (Tech Industry)

• ⚽ Messi (Lionel Soccer)

3️⃣ Enter the Daily Round

Stake your deck and pay the entry fee (0.01 per kard) to compete in the 24-hour Bingo-style round. All entry fees go into a Prize Pot for the season.

Once the round begins:

• You can unstake and stake new kards during the round

4️⃣ Internet-Powered Scoring

Every 24 hours, Klout scans the internet (via Perplexity-powered oracle) to determine the day’s top trending topics across multiple categories.

If the categories of your 5 Kards match the categories of the top trends, you score 100 points each.

Example round results:

• #1 Trending: LeBron James → NBA

• #2 Trending: Elon Musk → Business Leaders

• #5 Trending: Avatar → Movies

If all three appear in your 5-card deck, you score 300 points.

At the end of each season:

• The highest-scoring players on the leaderboard share the prize pool

• Your points determine your share of the players' allocation of tokens at TGE

• Bonus rewards apply for daily streaks

What exactly is a Klout Kard?

It’s an NFT representing a specific hashtag/topic from a category like NBA, Tech, Politics, Music, etc. Each Kard can be used in any daily round or traded/collected on NFT marketplaces.

How do I get more Kards?

What counts as a “trend”?

We use a Perplexity-powered oracle to scan the internet and extract the day’s top trending topics across major categories.

Do I need well known Kards to win?

Well known kards helps, but smart deck-building matters more. A well-balanced deck covering multiple categories can beat a high-rarity deck that’s too narrow - especially if you can spot a trend happening ahead of time.

Howcome there are some duplicate Kards across categories?

Sometimes a person can trend across various categories, in which case, they would have show up in various categories too. For example, Donald Trump could trend for multiple categories such as US Politics, International Politics, Legal and more. Selena Gomez could trend for Music as well as Influencers as she's big in both worlds.

What about Genesis holders? Do we have any perks?
